Preparation of the 19” rack
Estimated building time: 0,5 hours.
Sort all required components:
Drill an apropriate hole in the backpanel of the 19" case for supplying the mains voltage. Use a local approved connector and grommet.
Dril a second hole to connect the grouding.
Do not skip these steps because afterwards it is very difficult to carry out metalwork.
Stick 4 protection feet under the rack to prevent scratches
during further work. The screws on the bottom plate can be very sharp:
